Team sync — when one device isn't enough
Store & forward: data is captured and stored locally, then synchronized whenever connectivity becomes available. Everything above needs no infrastructure — but when several medics must see each other's records, add a small server your organization controls: patient data goes only there, hosted where your policies require. Devices without sync keep working exactly as before.
Org server INTERNET
One small rented server ($5–10/mo class). Devices sync from anywhere. Automatic HTTPS, nightly-backup runbook, under an hour to stand up.
Field kit NO INTERNET
A Raspberry Pi or spare laptop in the kit bag syncs phones over local Wi-Fi at the scene — zero connectivity required. A non-technical build guide goes from empty box to working kit.
Devices that share a server converge on the same records. Two medics editing the same casualty apart? Both edits survive; conflicts are listed for review — nothing is silently lost. Closed network? An air-gapped one-box variant serves the app and sync together.

Engineering you can audit
Hundreds of automated tests across the app, domain model, and sync server — the full test catalog is readable inside the app. Strict content-security policy, secret scanning, a CI-generated software bill of materials, and accessibility checks run on every change.
Honest claims
Not a certified medical device. AidPost records the clinician's triage decision; it never computes or suggests one, raises no alarms, and scores no deterioration. A working regulatory file (Health Canada-first, with FDA and EU series) tracks SaMD readiness — certification itself is on the roadmap. Records are tamper-evident, not tamper-proof.
